So why are republicans screaming about the "tyranny" of executive actions if a mere federal judge, not even a scotus judge, can just say "NOPE"? And further, why did ANY of Trump's executive actions get past "activist" judges? Could it be... That the left is LESS tyrannical and LESS fascistic than the right?

As a Texan, good. The main reason our government calls on the National Guard is because not doing that leas to the citizenry solving the problems themselves. As enthusiastic as the citizenry can be in this, they also tend to be a bit messy and extremely violent. Telling Texas that they're no longer allowed to enforce the law would likely spark our next war for independence. We literally only joined the union for protection from Mexico and statehood. We had to fight a second war for the latter after the US failed to keep up their end of the bargain, so don't think we won't do it again if the US stops on the former.
