YouTube to launch parental control tools for tweens and teens

YouTube announced that it will soon introduce new features designed for tweens and teens who are now too old for YouTube Kids content but not yet ready to explore entire YouTube. The company said the new features will give parents/guardians the ability to give children more limited access to YouTube through a ’supervised’ Google account. The beta version will launch in the coming months.

They should make the default account for kids only and a an actual amount for adults that way when you don't login only appropriate content is shown... Kinda silly to default to adult.

Tweens? Isn't that 2X? Why would you need parental control for over 20 year olds?
