Sign displayed by Marjorie Taylor Greene in Congress Draws Criticism

Marjorie Taylor Greene, a Republican lawmaker was slammed by transgender groups, Democrats and some members of her own party after she hung a sign outside her office; in response to fellow congresswoman Marie Newman raising a transgender pride flag. The poster put up by the Georgia congresswoman read ’There are TWO genders: Male & Female. Trust The Science!’

How is it transphobic? What do you think a trans person is transitioning between? If anything it supports trans ideas that you are one and want to be the other. It's madeuppronounphobic.

Not sure how Green is the focus of every headline, when it seems she was responding in kind to the petty actions of a neighboring congresswoman. I would say the primary takeaway is that US legislators are little better than bratty school children in terms of maturity.

Transphobic.... 🤣🤣🤣 God the word games being played these days is something else. Aristotle is either laughing his butt off or crying his heart out.

That's not transphobic at all. I have multiple trans friends, and they also believe there's only two genders. They transitioned from one gender, to the other gender. It's not a choice, it's a medical condition. In fact, they believe all of this gender fluid non binary crap is hurting them and making a mockery of their genuine dysphoria.

Facts are NOT transphobic they are FACTS. This is America and on your time if you want to make belive in you head thats fine. I'm part fish because I love being in the ocean every chance I get but I'm still 100% a straight white male. A simple DNA test will tell you what you are. In extreme rare case there a hermaphrodite you have both the and only then I'll let you pick what you want to be. Men are bigger, stronger, faster, more muscle mass, different bone structures and should never be allowed to beat women in sports. ✌🏻

Hateful people are gonna be hateful. She has no power and she got kicked off all of committees. But she still gets to make the GOP look bad. Its a great situation.

In fact, there are only two created biological sexes. You cannot change you sex. Therefore, the transgender community needs to hear this clearly: you are still you your biological created sex after you change it.

I'm getting a kick out of all of these science experts on this thread. But when experts like the NOAA and NASA say there are higher levels of carbon dioxide in our atmosphere resulting in long-term change in the average weather patterns, it's all a hoax.

I've never understood transphobia. Why would anyone fear someone who can't even figure out which bathroom to use? Seriously though, why shouldn't we "Trust the Science"? Is testing hypothesies for truth now considered Transphobic? If so, I think they just proved Greene's point.

Trans-woman: "I'm a woman, not a man!" Me: "Okay, ma'am. Still two genders, then."

Its not transphobic. Its a statement of fact. There are only two genders and only two sexes (barring the odd birth defect).

For all of you Republicans who are sick of being accused of being prejudice, look to this example right here of how you are being represented in the halls of Congress.

Believing in maie/female makes you fearful of people who identify as trans? More like we fear living under a cult. Mind-altering practices (such as meditation, chanting, speaking in tongues, denunciation sessions, or debilitating work routines) are used in excess and serve to suppress doubts about the group and its leader(s). The leadership dictates, sometimes in great detail, how members should think, act, and feel (e.g., members must get permission to date, change jobs, or marry—or leaders prescribe what to wear, where to live, whether to have children, how to discipline children, and so forth). The group is elitist, claiming a special, exalted status for itself, its leader(s), and its members (e.g., the leader is considered the Messiah, a special being, an avatar—or the group and/or the leader is on a special mission to save humanity). The group has a polarized, us-versus-them mentality, which may cause conflict with the wider society. The leader is not accountable to any authorities (unlike, for example, teachers, military commanders, or ministers, priests, monks, and rabbis of mainstream religious denominations). The group teaches or implies that its supposedly exalted ends justify whatever means it deems necessary. This may result in members participating in behaviors or activities they would have considered reprehensible or unethical before joining the group (e.g., lying to family or friends, or collecting money for bogus charities). The leadership induces feelings of shame and/or guilt in order to influence and control members. Often this is done through peer pressure and subtle forms of persuasion. Subservience to the leader or group requires members to cut ties with family and friends, and radically alter the personal goals and activities they had before joining the group. The group is preoccupied with bringing in new members. The group is preoccupied with making money. Members are expected to devote inordinate amounts of time to the group and group-related activities. Members are encouraged or required to live and/or socialize only with other group members. The most loyal members (the “true believers”) feel there can be no life outside the context of the group. They believe there is no other way to be, and often fear reprisals to themselves or others if they leave—or even consider leaving—the group.

So, science is transphobic now. The left is the embodiment of abject stupidity. Maybe we should force them all into reprogramming camps where they will learn things like elementary biology.
