WWII veteran Sir Tom Moore, who raised more than $45M for British hospitals by walking in his garden at the age of 100, was given a hero’s funeral Saturday. Moore died earlier this month. Church bells across the country rang at noon. A WWII-era plane flew over the funeral service. The private service was small, attended by just eight members of the veteran’s immediate family.
