Friday witnessed a long intelligence report issued by Washington which accused Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman of approving journalist, Jamal Khashoggi’s murder in Istanbul in 2018. No sanctions were directly imposed on the Prince. Secretary of State, Antony Blinken explained that Biden aims to ’recalibrate’ but not ’rupture’ its relations with Riyad.
