Kremlin critic Alexei Navalny has been transferred to a penal colony outside Moscow to serve his prison sentence. The name or exact location of the penal colony in the Vladimir region was not revealed. According to media reports, four former inmates of penal colony IK-2 said it is one of Russia’s toughest prisons. Russia has four types of penal colonies, each with a different regime.
Didn't he say something something something election fraud? It's all good, he's just being censored for believing anything but "Russia had the cleanest and fairest election of all time". Good riddance. Don't worry, Joe Biden will ask Putin to keep that traitor locked up forever.
the 'free speech' right wing sure is quiet about russia. if you ask me its because they wish they could get away with doing this to progressives back home lol
Hang in there, bud.
God willing he actually survives
Just taking a stab in the dark with this one but I think Navalny will be liked in the prison. There are most certainly other political prisoners locked up, so this may lead to a sense of camaraderie between him and the others.
All those Russians in prison might not like their government. Looks like 3 years of recruiting if he survives.
Sad that Russia is returning to its authoritarian, draconian past, but that is nothing new during the last few years with USA, China, Poland other super-powers being seduced by "strong-men" preffering authoritarianism to freedom :(
