Khashoggi’s fiancée demands ’punishment’ for Saudi crown prince

Hatice Cengiz, fiancée of slain journalist Jamal Khashoggi, had called for the punishment for Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for ordering his killing. She said, ’It is essential that the crown prince, who ordered the brutal murder of a blameless and innocent person, should be punished at the earliest.’ This comes after the US released a report that blamed Salman for the murder.

US likes oil too much to risk a price increase. America has shown time and again it prefers money over morals

Wow, I didn't think trials were decided by a US blame report. How is it news that radical Islam followers murder each othe?...they do that my the 10s everyday. Besides, this is a foreign affair, we should care anymore about this than the Russians poisoning somebody every other weekend.

We better not start another war. I'm done caring about ME dictators. Let's just build the keystone pipeline and get rid of our dependence on ME oil altogether. Then he can be a dictators over his camels and warring tribes, like they were before the West demanded oil.

As a Quatar asset, Khashogi could be labeled as a traitor to the crown, something that most countries could justify a death penalty for. Of course this lacks proper trial and the murder was done in a very inhuman way, but it is rather silly how eager the US is to portray this man as a American journalist for being a blogger living in the US. This continues to be one of those stories where I cannot stand behind either the Saudi or US perspectives on the classification or justification of what occurred.

How Distorted does your sense of self-importance have to be, that you would try to kidnap and or murder a reporter? I hope that Salman remembers that nothing lasts forever. It's like some people are refusing to learn from history, from what happened to the Russian czars, what happened to ceausescu, Sadam ... how could anyone who is presumably well-educated and a student of History not realize the parallels.?
