19-year-old VCU freshman found dead after fraternity party

The death of 19-year-old Adam Oakes, a student of the Virginia Commonwealth University is being investigated by the police in Richmond. Oakes was found unresponsive in off-campus housing, and was declared dead at the scene. His family said that he had just received a bid to join the Delta Chi fraternity, with heavy drinking being involved in the death. Oakes was also blindfolded at one point.
