Bill de Blasio, the mayor of New York City predicted that more individuals will be speaking out about the conduct of New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, after he was accused of sexually harassing two former aides. The New York City mayor further said ’As people see more and more evidence, it’s going to be clear this is not the way any leader should treat anybody.’

So he's just letting it be known he'll back anyone who wants to come up with a story... Stepping in like that isn't exactly an honest move. He knows what he's doing. Let them say their piece and investigate it, but essentially giving support to even undeclared allegations is completely unjust.
