Biden slammed for not punishing Saudi crown prince for Khashoggi’s murder

After the US released a report on the murder of Saudi Arabia’s dissident journalist Jamal Khashoggi, many were expecting President Joe Biden to punish the Saudi crown prince, Mohammed bin Salman, who the report said approved the murder. However, Biden stopped short of punishing Salman. Now, some congressmen, rights groups and journalists are criticizing Biden that he has let a murderer walk free.

Out in the front, a heinous crime has been ignored. An ignored crime is a condoned one.

And what exactly our responsibility in this case? A foreign national was killed by another foreign national in yet a foreign country....we have jurisdiction how? What do you leftists/SJWs think will happen if the House of Saud falls? I'll tell you...an Iran on steroids, 10$/gallon gasoline, a collapsed US/world economy, and a ton of dead people. You liberals should really think before you whine...

What a great way to start his Presidency- one rule for some, ignored for others. Where’s your morals Biden? Where’s justice Biden? Where’s leadership Biden ? Stupid, dangerous and ignorant message to send to the world Biden.

You have to let this one guy. MBS is a force to be reckoned with in the Middle East and it would be best to have him on side.

I see alot of trumpers in the comments apparently advocating for cutting ties with Saudis and letting them team up with China. Interesting they must have more knowledge about international politics than these clowns in office that have been working at it their whole lives.

It would be one thing if he just ignored it. It would be another thing if he were to name the accused in total. He named most, and excluded the one that would cause a debate internationally. Leaders don't dodge facts and appropriate actions.
