Indonesia’s Mount Sinabung was erupted, sending volcanic materials 5 kilometers into the sky and depositing ash on nearby areas. The volcano, which is in Sumatra Utara (North Sumatra), recorded 13 instances in the last week when it spewed ash clouds. The volcano was dormant for 400 years before erupting in 2010, killing two people. Eruptions in 2014 killed and 2016 killed 17 and 7 respectively.
