Texas, Mississippi lift mask mandates, business capacity limits

Texas Gov. Abbott announced Tuesday that he is lifting the state’s mask mandate and increasing capacity of all businesses and facilities in the state to 100%. Abbott said the mandates are no longer needed due to advancements of vaccines. Mississippi Gov. Reeves also declared, ’we are lifting all of our county mask mandates and businesses will be able to operate at full capacity.’
