Google pledges not to track users in new ways after Chrome cookie changes
Google said it won’t find new ways to track users after it phases out ad-tracking cookies from Chrome. David Temkin, Google’s head of product management, said: ’Today, we’re making explicit that once third-party cookies are phased out, we will not build alternate identifiers to track individuals.’ Google is phasing out such cookies from Chrome that online advertisers use to serve personalized ads.
