After outcry over botched police raid, Chicago mayor proposes new rules

Lori Lightfoot, Chicago’s mayor, and David Brown, the city’s police chief, outlined new rules to prevent a repeat of botched raid at the home of social worker Anjanette Young. Now, there would be a ban on all no-knock warrants except in cases where lives or safety are in danger. In February 2019, cops wrongly raided Young’s house, handcuffed her naked and ignored her pleas. It triggered an outcry.

Wait you mean they're actually only going to use raids as intended? Gee there's a stellar idea.

It's been such a long time since this was reported, much more since it happened. Going to actually do something, Lightfoot? What the hell?

The government from top to bottom are not your friend. It no longer serves you,you serve it. Keep voting for the two parties that control you. Its sure to change.
