House cancels session after police issue security warning on US Capitol

The US House canceled its session for Thursday after the Capitol Police warned that an ’unidentified militia group’ might have plotted to breach the Capitol. The police and lawmakers are particularly sensitive about such threats after the deadly rioting at the building on January 6 by former President Donald Trump’s supporters. The building’s security has been significantly upgraded since then.

Just wondering Newsweek, what portion of my comment made you decide that it earned censure? Comment was: "Of course excuse to keep them from doing their jobs".

So, with tens of thousands of people outside and no fortifications, they were able to evacuate Congress safely, despite the surprise breach. Now, with multiple barriers and thousands of troops there, they call off the session with no one in sight? Paranoid much?

I thought we had plenty of National Guard troops defending the Capitol from the MAGA militia

There's a myth going around that the Q people are gonna go back to the Capitol (and maybe just lull around and patiently wait in line like the Trump people did on Jan 6th...?) on March 20th. Nobody seems to realize that the entire Q conspiracy is a psyop to delegitimize conspiracy theories. "Oh? Director ___ was found moving drugs in ___ and there's piles of evidence? Sounds like a QAnon theory! I'm calling the thought police!"
