Ambitious police reform measure passed by US House

The House of Representatives passed the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act on Wednesday. Described as the most ambitious police reform effort in decades, it aims to ban chokeholds and ’qualified immunity’ for law enforcement and create national standards for policing in a bid to bolster accountability. The reform measure comes 9 months after 46-year-old Floyd was killed by Minneapolis police.

We know where this going to end up. Its like the schools when corporeal punishment is taken away from the teachers's hand. Students start losing their manners and things just deteriorates from there. Soon "uncontrollable" become the new normal. Societal standards and quality drops.
