Texas’ power grid CEO has been fired after the deadly February blackouts that left millions without electricity and heat for days. Bill Magness, CEO of the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT), is the second senior official to depart in the wake of the one of the blackout. Chairwoman DeAnn Walker resigned recently. At least six ERCOT board members have also stepped down in the aftermath.
