House passes landmark election bill

House passes landmark election bill

House Democrats passed sweeping voting and ethics legislation over Republican opposition. The bill restricts partisan gerrymandering of congressional districts, strike down hurdles to limit mail-in voting and early voting, ease new voter identification requirements and bring transparency to the campaign finance system. However, the For The People Act has little chance of passing in the Senate.

And there we go, we allowed them to get away with rigging an election now they’re ensuring republicans can never win again by passing laws rife with opportunity for fraud. We know mail in voting is the most pervasive form for fraud, that’s why they’re pushing it.

It's amazing that, in a time where millions believe fraud helped elect the president, democrats are doing everything they can to drastically weaken the system that has already been proven to have significant flaws.

Fortify the election by pumping it full of illegals.

Wow, our election system is officially dead and now open for complete corruption. Hunker down America! It's about to get really ugly

It should not be easier to vote, it should be rigorous, and thorough. Safeguarding elections doesn't happen by lowering standards. 🤦‍♂️

The Dems literally passed a bill codifying into law the methods required for running fraudulent elections. We NEED voter ID and we NEED TIGHTER restrictions on mail in voting, not less stringent ones!🤦🏽‍♂️ They must love the idea of civil war because removing the voice of the people and the ability to verify election integrity and you lose your mandate from the people to rule. This presidency is the worst of our history if we keep up this pace of destroying the foundations of our republic.

You don’t get rid of fraud in the voting system by gerrymandering and curtailing the access to vote. You get it by investing in a more robust oversight with verifiable safeguards, something that the red states COULD be doing now, instead of what they are actually doing - IF that’s what you’re really worried about. You don’t get there by making it harder to vote, and making one person’s vote worth less than another. But if you don’t believe in the Democratic process, and you don’t care how you win as long as you do, well then, gerrymandering and limiting voting access to just those who you think are in your pocket is the plan for you. And be sure you muddy the waters with accusations of massive fraud - don’t worry about proving it in court of law, just repeat it enough and the court of public opinion will try it for you.

Of Republicans hate America then why do Republicans wave and respect the flag while Democrats burn it?

Blatantly unconstitutional and a violation of rights specifically given to the states. Not surprising, considering who is pushing it.

Republicans hate democracy and hate America. They were trying to pass something like 250 new voting bills. Unprecedented assault to disenfranchise voters.
