Top Texas medical adviser says he wasn’t consulted on lifting mask mandate

Dr John Hellerstedt, head of Texas’s health services, told lawmakers that he didn’t have a conversation with the Governor Greg Abbott before Abbott announced the lifting of the mask mandate. Two other Texas medical advisers, Dr Mark McClellan and Dr Parker Hudson, told media they weren’t consulted either. This shows 3 out of the 4 Texas medical advisers were in the dark about Abbott’s decision.

Ok, and? I'm in Ohio and I wish DeWine had the same brain. The masks need to go. Why is it that the states without masks have the lowest covid cases in the country? Anyone? Bueller?
