Bolsonaro tells Brazilians to stop ’whining’ amid record COVID deaths
Brazil has recorded over 10.7M COVID-19 cases and over 261K deaths. The last three days has seen the country register an average daily death count of over 1700. Amid this President Bolsonaro has told Brazilians to move on. ’Enough fussing and whining. How much longer will the crying go on?’ Bolsonaro said. ’How much longer will you stay at home and close everything?’ he stressed.
What percentage is 261,000 of 10,700,000? I did a calculation and it came out to 2.44%. The percentage for the USA (I did a calculation for its infection and death numbers) and it came out as 1.8%. Which admittedly is quite low. Though of course the deaths are tragic but the deaths compared to total cases is quite low.
People die survival of the fittest especially with the Chinese flu that i have 99.95% survival rate but if I happen to be 0.05% and die so be it I'm not staying in my house, wearing a stupid mask. I'm at the bar 3 nights a week and play a home poker game once a week
One cringes over the Brazilian dictator's utter disrespect for his people's lives. Thusly, it's up to Brazilians to stand up, legally and peacefully, to impeach and punish this criminal clown for dereliction of duty on such an unimaginable scale.

I love all the people talking about Brazilian politics with such authority. Despite how he’s painted in the media he is still very popular, even my left wing friends have come to like him. People fail to understand that before covid was an issue many people were already struggling to survive on a daily basis, Americans think they have things tough but they wouldn’t last a week in the favelas. Bolsonaro has been strengthening the economy giving people many more opportunities to raise themselves out of poverty. As far as the covid numbers go Brazil’s main issue is people don’t care about covid, there are still lots of big parties and people going clubbing. It’s hard to tell people how have lived their entire lives struggling to survive that they can’t enjoy themselves.
