Google to release Chrome updates every four weeks from later this year

The developers behind Google’s Chrome have announced that updates and patches for the browser will be released every four weeks, starting with Chrome 94 in Q3 of 2021. Currently, the release cycle of updates and patches is six weeks. In the Chromium blog, the developers said it will also add a new ’Extended Stable’ option, which will be released every two weeks to fix important issues.
