Large group of people rallies before ex-officer put on trial in Floyd’s death
Scores of people gathered outside the residence of the Governor of Minnesota, demanding accountability for police officers, days before a former Minneapolis officer is scheduled to go on trial in the death of George Floyd. A large number of the nearly 150 people who had gathered were family members of others who died during police encounters. Similar protests were organized in other cities, too.
He's being tried for murder..isn't that accountability?
Ridiculous charges that lack merit. Easy win for even a half competent lawyer. I still don't understand the massive overcharging in these cases. Why not just charge them to the letter of the law and win instead of letting them walk because you got emotional.🤷🏾♂️

I wonder if the FBI will investigate this as intimidation, jury influencing, insurgencey or even trespass? Oh, who am I kidding, they aren’t Trump supporters or Republicans. Nothing to see here, enjoy the riot... er...”peaceful protests”.
