Protesters gather in Minneapolis ahead of ex-cop’s trial in George Floyd death
Hundreds of protesters poured into the streets of Minneapolis on the eve of ex-cop Derek Chauvin’s trial in the death of George Floyd. They carried a coffin and called for racial justice and a halt to police brutality. Already, the courthouse where Chauvin will appear has been barricaded with fencing and razor wires. Business owners are fearing a fresh round of violence during the trial.
