18-year-old charged in Capitol riot begs for release
18-year-old Bruno Joseph Cua, who is the youngest among the nearly 300 accused of attacking the Capitol on 6 January to halt the election, pleaded with a Georgia judge to allow him to go back to his family before his trial. Mr. Cua sent a message to US District Court Judge Randolph D Moss, and said he isn’t a danger to anyone and was making empty threats on social media.

Sue the government for violation of his 8th amendment rights. His trial is set for May but bail was denied for walking around and they're going to let him spend that time in jail? What a f'ing joke.
If i were the kid i would sue the government for unlawful imprisonment. Then sue the guard who let them in . The left is setting a president in that its ok for the left to riot but if you are a right winger then its jail time for you with a hefty fine.
This kid should be charged and judged before his peers. Don't rush the Capitol Building. But I also believe BLM and Antifa should be rounded up and charged and tried also. Both sides are evil and anyone that supports them is dishonest.

He should be free. Did he kill a cop? No. Did he start a fire? No. Did he vandalize businesses? No. Did he vandalize the Capital? No. There was people there doing all the above that are walking free.
Whether his ideology is right or wrong, he intended to do harm and did so. His requests sound snarky and contrived. He needs to learn a bigger lesson, it could very well save his life long term.

The FBI has already stated they saw no indication that Antifa had anything to do with the insurrection of our Capitol. Antifa actually stands for anti-fascist.
