House readies itself to pass $1.9 trillion COVID relief bill on Tuesday

Following approval by the Senate, the House of Representatives is gearing up to pass Democrats’ $1.9 trillion coronavirus relief bill on Tuesday. President Joe Biden is then expected to sign the legislation before Sunday, when unemployment programs expire. Extra unemployment benefits, rental assistance, Covid-19 vaccination funds and direct payments are included in the plan.
