Tesla is preparing to plug in a huge battery storage in the Texas power grid in its energy business, Bloomberg reported. It said the plug-in might happen this summer. Texas had a massive power failure in February due to a winter freeze. The report said Tesla aims to build more than 100MW of energy storage in Angleton. Tesla subsidiary Gambit Energy Storage is said to be undertaking the project.
Looks like an improvement.
Hopefully they have heaters in the battery. Lithium batteries don't like freezing cold either.
A little late now, ain't it? As to why Texas has electrical grid problems, I shall choose to be polite and remain silent, as this round began with an executive order. Thanks Bully Byethen!
