US presents draft peace proposal to Afghan warring sides, report says

A document obtained by AP showed that the US has presented an 8-page draft peace proposal to the Afghanistan government and the Taliban as peace talks continue to drag without making any headway with violence, especially targeted killings, rising in the country. Washington has asked the warring parties to come to Turkey in the coming weeks. The US state department didn’t not confirm the proposal.
