Customers of T-Mobile will soon be automatically enrolled by the company in programs that will sell the device usage data and online data of users to advertisers. The privacy policy update of the carrier was spotted by The Wall Street Journal. Starting April 26th, this information will be made available to marketing agencies unless customers opt out.

i feel as though every device ive owned for the last 10 years has that as the default. after buying a device with internet access, first go through all the settings, youll find a lot of uneccesary shit turned on.
