Apple to invest $1.2 billion in silicon design center in Germany

Apple announced they will increase its corporate spending in Germany by $1.2 billion. The company will set up new facilities in Munich, Germany that will focus on 5G and potentially future wireless technologies. According to Apple, 1,500 workers are already working in Munich which they said is the company’s largest engineering hub in Europe.
