Japan marks 10th anniversary of Fukushima nuclear disaster

Japan on Thursday marked the 10th anniversary of the earthquake, tsunami and nuclear disaster that hit Fukushima. Many walked to the coast or visited graves to pray for relatives and friends washed away by the tsunami. Emperor Naruhito and PM Yoshihide Suga were among those observing a moment of silence at a memorial in Tokyo. More than 18,000 people died in the disaster.

Am I wrong or are these stories incredibly misleading? Didn't almost every one of those people die from the tsunami? These headlines make it sound like the nuclear plant killed them which simply isn't true. I'm not positive anyone died from the meltdown itself. If I remember correctly at worst it was a very small number of plant workers.

And still no giant atomic monsters. The future is so disappointing.
