At least 7 Myanmar anti-coup protesters killed in latest police firing

The Myanmar military junta has upped its crackdown against anti-coup protesters in the country. On Thursday, security forces fired at a small town called Myaing and killed 6 protesters. In another police shooting, 1 protester was killed in Yangon. The death toll in the junta’s crackdown on the protesters has now crossed 60. Reports said, so far, over 2,000 people have been arrested.
