Biden holds first summit with Japan, India, Australia

US President Biden is set to hold the first-ever four-way summit with the leaders of Australia, India and Japan, on Friday ramping up efforts to fix alliances as concerns grow over China. The summit comes at a time that all four democracies see relations deteriorate with China. A State Department spokesman clarified, however, that the Quad is not focused ’on any single issue, to include China.’

I understand why France are not involved. But no England, Canada, New Zealand? And what game are the Australian Liberal party playing? Allowing massive land purchases and control of vital assets.. like.. maybe start there? A Chinese firm literally just purchased $500m of land in Sydney that includes an airport yet they are concerned of their expansion?
