Funding of £500m is set to be released by the government of UK for the Shared Rural Network. With this funding, mobile access will be improved in far-flung areas with the addition of new infrastructure. Operators will also be convinced to share their antennas with their rivals. Four mobile providers of UK, EE, Three, O2, Vodafone, are included in the deal which was announced back in March 2020.
