Johnson & Johnson vaccine approved by WHO for emergency use
The emergency-use listing of Johnson & Johnson’s COVID-19 vaccine has been approved by the WHO. This is the third vaccine which has received backing from the WHO, after those of Pfizer/BioNTech and AstraZeneca. The listing covers use in all countries, and for the vaccine platform COVAX’s roll-out across the world. The European Medicines Agency had earlier authorized the vaccine on Thursday.
