New Zealand on Saturday marked the 2nd anniversary of the Christchurch mosques killing by a white supremacist gunman. Several hundreds gathered at the Christchurch Arena for the remembrance service. In the March 15, 2019, attacks, Brenton Tarrant killed 44 people at the Al Noor mosque before driving to the Linwood mosque, where he killed seven more. Tarrant was sentenced to life in prison.
Regardless of their beliefs, nobody has a right to murder. It was tragic what took place.
