’This is abuse,’ says Bolivia’s ex-interim President on arrest

Jeanine Áñez, the ex-interim President who led Bolivia for a year, was arrested on Saturday. The grounds of the arrest lie in her participating in the ’2019 ouster of socialist leader, Evo Morales’ which was dubbed as a coup. ’There was no coup d’etat, but a constitutional succession,’ Áñez told the reporters, adding that her arrest was an ’illegal detention’ and termed it as ’abuse.’

This is a good thing in my opinion. The people of Bolivia like Evo Morales. The US government doesn't.

“In a series of tweets, Áñez said, "In an act of abuse and political persecution the MAS [Movement Towards Socialism] government has ordered my arrest." She added: "It is accusing me of having participated in a coup that never happened. My prayers for Bolivia and for all Bolivians."..... Socialists arresting a political adversary under accusations of a coup??? This sounds so familiar, like I’ve heard that very thing right here in the U.S. recently. Nah, this happens every time the Socialist come to power. The only thing for the Socialists in control to do now is decide If Ms. Anez died while trying to escape, or committed suiside.
