Woman accused of making ’deepfake’ videos of daughter’s cheerleader rivals

A Pennsylvania woman is accused of doctoring photos and video of her daughter’s cheerleading rivals to try to get them kicked off the squad. Raffaela Spone, 50, was charged last week with three misdemeanor counts of cyber harassment of a child and related offenses. The manipulated photos of the girls were made to appear like they were drinking, smoking and even nude.

That's not a deep fake, she wouldn't be able to afford one. She just put someone else's head on a body in a photograph with photoshop, and made a terrible job of it.

If they were under 18 I wonder if she can get hit with Child P charges. If so, she should be charges.

She's just trying to do her best Donald trump impersonation! ( see how annoying that is conservatives? How I took a completely unrelated story and made it about trump to be hyperpartisan? Yeah, cringe. Cut it out. Stop with the nonsense in the comment section, please.)

If it was a real deepfake she wouldn't have been caught.

Ten years from now, what works that have accomplished anyway. Don't most cheerleaders end up serving drinks on airplanes anyway?
