Tim Berners-Lee says world needs less toxic social networks

Tim Berners-Lee, who is regarded as the father of the world wide web, told Guardian that the internet needs to be better than it is now. He said the world needs ’social networks where bad things happen less.’ Suggesting that web policing won’t necessarily lead to ’surveillance capitalism,’ he said reshaping the online world along more positive, human-centered lines might be simpler than it seems.
