Hundreds of spring breakers arrested for violating Covid curbs in Miami Beach

Miami Beach’s Mayor Dan Gelber said hundreds of spring breakers were arrested and at least two policemen were injured this weekend as thousands of them flocked there for partying, breaking Covid-19 restrictions. The Miami Beach police said officers had to use pepper balls to disperse a crowd. They said some people in the crowd started throwing money into the air causing a larger crowd to gather.
