Women in UK defy ban on vigils for Sarah Everard

Mourners including the Duchess of Cambridge visited a memorial for London murder victim Sarah Everard on Saturday. This came despite police warning that vigils to pay tribute and to protest about violence against women would breach COVID-19 restrictions. In a related matter, London police officer Wayne Couzens, 48, appeared in court on Saturday charged with the kidnap and murder of Everard.

I'm curious as to why this particular woman is so important? People get murdered all the time yet the media has tunnel vision on this one person for some reason.

Coming from a country already bordering on thought control, this doesn't surprise me at all.

Does this mean the U.K. Is going to get serious about grooming gangs now as well or... oh...no, not yet. Did you Brits get to see the report on grooming gangs like you were promised over a year ago by your government? No? Not yet? Well I’m sure it’s for the best then, your government will tell you if they think you need to know.

So one person is murdered and they arrest someone within a few days. Honestly, that is not too shabby compared to many murder cases, thus I am not sure what else people expect?
