Schools mull over seating students closer together amid pandemic

Federal health experts, state governments and education officials are currently facing hurdles in their bid to return as many children as possible to the classroom, since U.S. guidelines say students should be kept 6 feet apart in schools. New evidence has suggested that it may be safe to seat students closer together. As a result Illinois and Massachusetts are allowing 3 feet of distance.
