France says AstraZeneca CEO in ’hot seat’ over Covid-19 vaccine delays

France’s Industry Minister Agnes Pannier-Runacher said AstraZeneca’s CEO Pascal Soriot is in the ’hot seat’ over delays in deliveries of the Covid-19 vaccine doses. He also said the company must provide more details of its production plans to the EU. AstraZeneca said it would try to deliver 30 million doses to the EU by the end of March. AstraZeneca is under a contract to deliver 90 million doses.
