Google Play to cut fees for developers for first $1 million in annual revenue

Google said it will reduce the fees it charges third-party Android app developers to list their apps in Play. It said, from July 1, it will take a 15% cut from the first $1 million in app sales and in-app purchases every year. Now, the commission is 30%. Apple also announced a similar move in November. This comes as regulators in some regions are looking into antitrust allegations against the two.
