European Union preparing to block vaccine exports to Britain

So wait. A week or so ago we had an article revealing the European Commission outright lying to the public and in the end admitting it of UK banning vaccine exports to EU nations, yet now the EU is the one deciding to engage in the same activity they lied about UK engaging in? I'm gonna need to sit on this for a moment and wait a bit more to evaluate the truth here.

So to the America first crowd this is the eu saying: EU first! Vaccines produced in the EU should go to EU citizens first! Shouldn’t the right wingers applaud this?
