US stops taking young migrants to oilfield camp over safety concerns
US authorities have stopped teenage migrants to a camp for oilfield workers in West Texas. The Midland, Texas camp was converted to house these young migrants who crossed the Mexico border to the US. The decision followed after questions were raised about the camp. The site faces several issues, including cramped conditions, Covid-19 outbreak and staff unable to communicate in Spanish.
