Atlanta shootings: Georgia church says suspect betrayed faith, disowns him

Crabapple First Baptist Church in Milton, Georgia condemned the shootings which took place in Atlanta, and said they run contrary to the gospel and the church’s teachings. The church is attended by 21-year-old Robert Aaron Long who has been charged with killing eight people at three Atlanta-area massage businesses. The church announced it plans to remove Mr. Long from its membership.

I don't see how this is a Church issue period. This nut job is a criminal, and a murderer. Just because he supposedly went to Church now we need to feed that fetish, too.

God is judge not the church. Christian's are supposed to turn the other cheek, forgive their neighbors and help people connect with God. Especially people who sin. This church sounds bass ackwards, imho.

Well if he committed the crimes he's accused of, he did break one of the ten commandments. That's what's nice about living in a free country, people and organizations are able to choose who they accept and who they don't accept based on their actions. (Edited to correct speech to text errors.)
