GOP Rep. says he bypassed Capitol security rules to sue Pelosi

GOP Rep. Clyde clarified that he wasn’t trying to sneak a gun into the House chamber when he bypassed new metal detectors installed at the Capitol. Instead, Clyde says, he was purposely skirting the rules to have a chance to sue House Speaker Pelosi. Clyde has broken the rule twice and has been fined $15,000. ’I did that so we would have legal standing to take the case to federal court,’ he said.

Metal detectors are not considered an infringement on our rights. They are a basic security protocol in airports and even some schools. This man has absolutely no standing to challenge basic security protocols.
