Biden admin to spend $86M on border hotel rooms for migrant families
According to reports, the Biden administration will spend $86M on hotel rooms near the Mexican border to hold migrant families. The six-month contract will see around 1,200 families hosted in hotels in Texas and Arizona. This comes amid a surge of immigration at the southern border. In Feb, border officials encountered 18,945 family members and 9,279 unaccompanied children.
1200 familes for 6 months cost 86 million. That's $72,000 per person. WTF! "Come to America we'll let you in and put you up in a hotel and then pay you 150 grand a year just for showing up." The news will travel all the way south and the information will change but the premise is "come on in" and that's the only thing the people that are coming here will hear.

71.5K per family for 6 months... 143k if the contract was a full year. Not saying those 1200 families arent important, but what the biden administration just declared was there's around 550k homeless US citizens who arent as important as illegal immigrants.
