’The border is closed’: Biden’s DHS Secretary insists crisis is under control
Homeland Security Sec. Alejandro Mayorkas insisted that the southern border is ’closed’ after facing pressure over a surge of unaccompanied migrant children crossing into the US. Trump aide, Stephen Miller, however, countered Mayorkas saying minors arriving at the border are resettled in the US and that family units or adults are either released totally or released into ’alternative to detention’.
