Death sentence in Boston Marathon bombing case to be considered by SCOTUS

SCOTUS announced that it is planning to consider whether to reinstate the death penalty for Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the Boston Marathon bomber. The 2013 bombing killed three people and injured 264 others, and was carried out by Tsarnaev along with his brother, Tamerlan Tsarnaev. Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, who is of Chechen descent, was convicted of all 30 charges brought against him.
